Stan in a Nutshell

Greetings, everyone,  

My name is Stanly Santos, and like you all, I am also a college student majoring in English at UASD. I am 23 years old, and I am originally from San Francisco. I reckon I am a very hard-working, determined, and responsible person. In addition, I believe independence is something very important for everyone to have; consequently, I myself became independent when I became of age, and this is something I am very proud of and do not regret in the least.

When writing about myself, it definitely becomes imperative that I express my loving foreign cultures, and needless to say, foreign languages in general. Furthermore, I can say that learning foreign languages is the thing I enjoy most doing when it comes to acquiring knowledge. I think it is safe to say that I am an imaginative yet decisive type of person; I am ambitious yet private. I am amazingly curious, but I certainly do not squander my energy.

In my view, nothing can stop the right attitude from achieving its goal. Therefore, I am an extremely strong-willed person: I always do my best to achieve what I set my mind to. Moreover, I have a natural thirst for knowledge; thereby, I rarely find it boring to work hard for what I desire.

I am pleased to meet you all, and I really look forward to enjoying this summer with all of you in our English class.

The Bold and the Bashful

Hello, everyone, We all certainly have personality traits that distinguish us from each other. Unit three tells us about two very specific features, which are boldness and bashfulness. In my view, it is funny to see that people would talk about these two features as completely separated from each other to describe others. That is, I do not believe they can be used this way. We cannot use either of these adjectives to entirely describe a person because no one is one thing or the other in its entirety. That is to say, even the people you might consider that possess a great amount of boldness are somehow also bashful, and the same thing occurs with people who are bashful; they can also be bold depending on the circumstances. 🕊️Spiritual Renewal🕊️  Unit 6 ✝️To replenish my soul, to be closer to God, walk with him, and lead a better life you have to read or study the Bible, and when you do it, ask God to give you the wisdom to understand it, to understand the message, you can learn a verse each week or each month, You can make "cilicios" and fast, people do not like to fast or sometimes time is not enough, as we saw in unit 6.
