The tipping point

     The tipping point
  According to unit four the tipping point refers to a time or situation that changes a person' s life. In the unit There are some examples of tipping  point such as the ones cited from Gladwell's book " The tipping point" and the tipping point of crime in New York.
   Now I'm goint write about a turning point in my life. To choose one turning point in my llife is kind of hard because I have experienced many situations that have changed my life as a whole. However, when I got my first job things changed completely, that happened when I was starting my career at the university . I was taking the English Immersion program when the teacher made a list of the best students from the program to choose some of them to be hired as English teachers. I thought it was a joke. But, time passed and the next year one of my friends from the program visited me just to tell me we were hired by the government. I couldn't believe it, I was not expecting that. Even though, things were difficult at home I was not looking for a job but I got it and I was very excited. Since that moment I became an independent woman. I don't need to ask my parents for money and I'm currently helping them with their expenses. I can say getting my first job made me see that need to work hard to get what we want and above all it helped me to become a more responsible person.

The Bold and the Bashful

Hello, everyone, We all certainly have personality traits that distinguish us from each other. Unit three tells us about two very specific features, which are boldness and bashfulness. In my view, it is funny to see that people would talk about these two features as completely separated from each other to describe others. That is, I do not believe they can be used this way. We cannot use either of these adjectives to entirely describe a person because no one is one thing or the other in its entirety. That is to say, even the people you might consider that possess a great amount of boldness are somehow also bashful, and the same thing occurs with people who are bashful; they can also be bold depending on the circumstances.
