Workplace and Employees' Privacy
About this topic there is something we can not forget and it is that employees have the right to have privacity and also they have the right to protect privacity ,but on the other hand we have the rights of employers . According to the book ,"NorthStart 5", employers have the right to know if the job is getting done un their enterprise ,they also have the right to know what do employees do with their while working.
This topic seems to be a dilema because each part have its rights ,and those rights sometimes are affected when for example employers monitore employees by means of videocameras ,computers ,smart ID badgets ,and so on without asking them for any permisión. Also employees' rights are violated when their privacity is affected.
In conclusion , I would say that employers can monitore their employees but they must respect some áreas like ;bathrooms ,lunch time and so on . And I also think that employees must accept that surveillance in specifics places but not everywhere . I mean if they have anything to hide.
