Honesty is the best policy. well, l really like this topics, because l´ve seen many things that happen in our real life. l wish l could get rid of lie, l mean, l always want to say the true, but something whisper me and l notice that l need to change firstly. l don´t want to be inflated, but the most of the students mislead to the professor that they are doing a very good job, but it´s not true, they always know when the students are doing a very good job and when thay ar lying too. l meant, when they are right.  The truth is nobody trivial matter,  just they want to do the right things  l have a friend which  he always likes to lie. Hello! guys , my name is: Ramon Espertin Mena, and I am going to express mi my opinion about Internet addiction , sometimes the people that are Internet addict do not note it , they don't know that they need some help. You note that they are Internet addict when they pass more than 10, hours a day connected to the Internet and miss out others activities, when they like making cyber friends more than their family. I am going to give you some advices. First: You will use the computer after finishing your daily work. Second: You will not miss your bedtime because of the Internet. Third:   Get on the Internet only when you absolutely have to. Fourth: Try hanging out with friends and participate in sports activities.

My point of view about Internet addictions, it's a big problem in our world. you can get some many problems in your life if you are addict person, why? because you can lose some skills to interact face to face with other people. for example: If you want to have some relationship or a girlfriend/boyfriend the first thing that you are going to do is looking on the internet because you aren't able to talk to other people on the street because maybe you are a shy person and you use this way to meet some people.  I suggest If you have this kind of problem get a treatment or therapy and you are going to get some better solution about this.  thanks!

Hi, guys, my name is Indira Espejo, I live in Santo Domingo. I'm 26 years old. I love to study languages because it's my passion to study new culture and interact with other people.  I don't have children yet. Nowadays, I'm not working, because I'm studying at UASD. My goal in this years is to finish my career. my dream is to be a flight attendant, but not here in my country. I think to live to another country because my family is from Italy, and Finally I can speak 3 different languages. my second language isn't English, it's Italian. thank guys!

My take on internet addictions Nowadays we live in a world that depends on technology almost for everything. So, it could be normal if a person devote a quite few of his or her time surfing the internet. I think that the important thing is how we use it, and how we manage the time we spend on it. If you cannot be twenty-four hours without being on internet, enjoying the things that surround you, you might have a problem because that means that the internet has a place it should not have in your life. All in all, the internet is one of the greatest things that mankind has invented but we have to control it, and not vice versa.

In my case, regularly i spend a lot of time in my phone because i use it when i arrived  home, always tired; it makes me relax because i check  all the messages, some of them fun, and everybody  start  to write at the same time, so i takes my time but i enjoy it a lot. When we think of addictions, the things that usually come to our mind are drugs, alcohol or cigarettes. We hardly ever think of internet. However, this tool that makes our lives easier, usually become a problem for some people. Nowadays, a lot of people feel addicted to internet. These people live isolated, feel anxious and get depressed when they do not have access to internet. This problem has become so strong because internet is included in almost all of our daily activities, for example: in our jobs, in college and we have access to it even in the bus! Fortunately, psychologists can help these people to reintegrate the society successfully. Regards!

Good afternoon everybody. Last class we're talking about different addictions, such as gambling, drugs, internet, etc. Our professor said that time not  necessarily describe an addiction, but things that people don't have control over, e.g., dedicating to much time to chatting, betting money on different casinos, watch excessive hours of TV... We also discussed the meaning of different words, like fulfillment, turn in, present with, netaholic, workaholic, devoting, etc. I did not know that by adding the suffix -aholic to certain words, we could refer to addictions.
