About me

My name is Mario Luis, I am 20 years old and I live in Santo Domingo (I am from the Dominican Republic).

I am a student of modern languages majoring in English at UASD, hmmm I started to study it in 2013.

My hobbies are reading books, playing soccer, walking, dancing, biking, live music, learning/practicing languages, etc.

I consider myself very jumpy, funny, sometimes reckless. Anyway, I have a brother and I am taller and older than him (he is 19 years old).

At the moment I am not working but, I may apply for a job soon.

The Bold and the Bashful

Hello, everyone, We all certainly have personality traits that distinguish us from each other. Unit three tells us about two very specific features, which are boldness and bashfulness. In my view, it is funny to see that people would talk about these two features as completely separated from each other to describe others. That is, I do not believe they can be used this way. We cannot use either of these adjectives to entirely describe a person because no one is one thing or the other in its entirety. That is to say, even the people you might consider that possess a great amount of boldness are somehow also bashful, and the same thing occurs with people who are bashful; they can also be bold depending on the circumstances. 🕊️Spiritual Renewal🕊️  Unit 6 ✝️To replenish my soul, to be closer to God, walk with him, and lead a better life you have to read or study the Bible, and when you do it, ask God to give you the wisdom to understand it, to understand the message, you can learn a verse each week or each month, You can make "cilicios" and fast, people do not like to fast or sometimes time is not enough, as we saw in unit 6.
