Spiritual Renewal



Hello!! 

I wouldn't like to write and talk about religions. Why? because this topic for me is personal. I don't believe in any religions. that's why I'm not going to write anything. sorry! 

In this lesson, I'm going to use the vocabulary again. this will be useful for my practice for the next quiz.

1-a prophet is a person who speaks God’s truth to others
2-she is an ascetic person because she has a close spiritual life with God 
3-fasting is important in the Catholic religion
4-the divine presence of God is wonderful
5-the government enacted a new law in my country 
6-Luisa is a vibrant person because she is a dynamic and energetic person
7-In the united states the life is hectic 
8-I've replenished my glass with wine 
9-the well being of our children is the most important purpose in our lives
10-I refrain from drinking alcohol 
11-the will of God is our purpose 
12-the teacher works to foster her students' curiosity
13-Gratitude reduces feelings of envy to others

14-Humility is the quality of being humble

The Bold and the Bashful

Hello, everyone, We all certainly have personality traits that distinguish us from each other. Unit three tells us about two very specific features, which are boldness and bashfulness. In my view, it is funny to see that people would talk about these two features as completely separated from each other to describe others. That is, I do not believe they can be used this way. We cannot use either of these adjectives to entirely describe a person because no one is one thing or the other in its entirety. That is to say, even the people you might consider that possess a great amount of boldness are somehow also bashful, and the same thing occurs with people who are bashful; they can also be bold depending on the circumstances. I was very curious about how these two terms were being employed since in my particular case, even though I am more of an introvert, I consider myself to be both bold and bashful. 🕊️Spiritual Renewal🕊️  Unit 6 ✝️To replenish my soul, to be closer to God, walk with him, and lead a better life you have to read or study the Bible, and when you do it, ask God to give you the wisdom to understand it, to understand the message, you can learn a verse each week or each month, You can make "cilicios" and fast, people do not like to fast or sometimes time is not enough, as we saw in unit 6. If they knew how important it is to fast, that it can help them both in the physical and spiritual lives, They did it; but the best thing of all is to pray, to connect with God, humble yourself before God, Tell him what is happening to you, talk to him, and don't be proud, be humble.✝️ Finally I want to share with you a link or a video about the prayer.
