Hello! God bless you. Workplace privacy: In my opinion this topic is very important because. Employers use electronic survillance practices, including monitoring employee phone conversation and voicemail messages, in order to keep tabs on their business operations. Generally, employers can monitor telephone calls to and from their locations,but there are legal limits.  In addiction, employers have the right to track the websites visited by their employees, to block employees from visiting specific internet sites.

     The tipping point:      Tipping point: it was the topic from unit 4 So what l've learned from this topic is that it's when occur a change in a moment that makes an important and sigbificant change in live or in the society, also that topic refers to a reflectons point from the effects of a project or idea are maximized by creating a significant change .       In modern life, there are many forms of spiritual renewal. Mny people practice smalldaily rituals , such as internationally remaining quiet or spending time alone ; a growing number of people choose to retreat from society for a few days , often by visiting a spiritual community ; and a few people withdraw from mainstream society  to live in a monastery.       A monastery is a place occupied by community of persons, called monks(males) or nuns 9females), who follow strict religious vows, or promises . monasteries transcend cultural, national, and religious boundaries:There are Buddhist,Indians,Christian,hermit and wandering moks. Those small changes that become significant to cause a more important change. And one example is trujillo's death. Some tipping points in my life were when I got married, when I accepted to GOD, and when I got my first job. I like the book, The Tipping Point: How little things can make a big difference, written by malcolm Gladwell, because little by little you get far, and many times big things or big opportunities are disguised of problems, but it doesn't matter how big or small things are, the most important thing is your attitude which can be your worst enemy or your best friend.  I like this phrase of Zig Ziglar, and I want to share it with you  That your attitude be your best friend, not your enemy!

Good evening, my peers,  Workplace privacy is a particularly interesting topic, and on this occasion, I was very curious about what employers think about it. Therefore, I decided to interview two of my friends to get further information about how they feel about it, and whether they agree or frown upon it. I already have a clear idea of where I stand on the subject, so it was very interesting to compare and contrast my thoughts with those of my friends. According to the book, the Feng-Shui decoration is neither a fashion nor something inconsistent. It is an ancient art based on generating balance and harmony through the five elements: earth, fire, wood, metal and water. Is an ancient Chinese aesthetic system that aims to use the laws of Heaven (astronomy) and Earth (geography) to help improve life by receiving positive ki (like Dragon Ball). Of course, it does not have any scientific support (yet, I think), although many people practice it and sell books on the subject as a hot bread.

About this topic there is something we can not forget and it is that employees have the right to have privacity and also they have the right to protect privacity ,but on the other hand we have the rights of employers . I think that for generations we have been putting material interests ahead, leaving aside the spiritual aspects as secondary. Material life is sometimes the only purpose we face, and we have unintentionally endorsed money as the most important thing in this existence. To lead a life without "abundance" and to know that I will not be able to have certain economic advantages leads us to depression, lowers our self-esteem, we lose our north (or south) and define the sense of failure because you feel like you are no longer in the same position as before. The truth is, the only thing that really defines who we are is our position with God (or whoever you believe in) and how much we are growing spiritually. Everything else stays, nothing that you accumulate today will have importance in the spiritual plane. PS. I am agnostic :P

We know that the incorporation of new techniques of technologically advanced control has irremediably modified the modern life of society. This has led to an effort of all, in the adaptation and accustomed to this new way of coexistence. We no longer find it strange to find surveillance cameras on public roads or common spaces. In the previous unit we talked about how employers have been strongly working on privacy in workplaces by installing cameras, using hidden software (which allow employers  to monitor any activity on a computer), or just physical monitoring. The followings were just some of the methods employers use to monitor and over look their employees. Monitoring employees at work has many advantages as well as disadvantages for them. Some might see it as privacy invasion while others do not consider it a big deal. However, I think that employees should be informed about it. It is not a secret that many companies monitor their workers without telling them about the process. Workplace Privacy it is a topic that I am really interested in, since privacy is really important in our life, and we want privacy even in our workplace, so, is it correct evading privacy at work? I think it not  a bad idea, every employer wants to be sure his employees are doing what they must be doing. Of course, employers can "envade" privacy, but there is a line they cannot cross, as long as this line has not been crossed, everything will be ok.

I consider that in our country we shouldn't have privacy in workplaces or on the streets. why ? because We as a society must make certain changes in order to obtain a change. Work place privacy   In class I heard the professor talking about a book called 1984 written by Gorge Orwell. The idea of a book that could predict some of the things that we are living today called my attention. So I looked for some information about it. It’s a story about a man who was unhappy working for the government (The big brother), he wrote a diary talking against the regime and then he met a girl who shared his same feeling about the big brother. They fell in love and move away together, they got into a group that was against the government too. At the end they were discovered and then by torture they turned each other in. they did not stay together and the man began to like the regime. The part that is predicted in this book is the way we are been monitored by the government and some employers. Nowadays it is normal to see a camera everywhere. I think that situation has its pros and cons, the security are way better if we have cameras watching everything...

    Workplace privacy    These days some people feel their privacy rights are being violated. Most companies rely on computers and electronic mail to do their business. Employers are monitoring the use of technology that their workers do. Sometimes employees feel demeaned by surveillance but I think employers have the right to monitor the workers to see their efficiency as long as they do not disrespect employees' privacy. They should not use cameras in private places such as restrooms because that would not be legitimate.   On the other hand, employees should not disrespect their workplaces by using electronic devices and internet to do certain things that affect their productivity. Chatting or watching porn videos are not part of their duties so they should not do those kind of things at work. In those cases monitoring is a good alternative.
